MTF-Huawei Module 1.0 – FRP Reset & Fastboot Format (2025) SigmaKey Required

Tested Device:

Model: Huawei P40 Lite (JNY-L02)

Software Version: 12.0.0.285(C69E4R2P2)

Processor: Kirin 810

Objective:

Perform a Format (if recovery doesn’t allow selecting "YES") and FRP reset using SigmaKey.

Required Tools:

Sigma Box with MTF-Huawei Module 1.0

Modified USB cable (for test point method)

Procedure

Step 1: Format via Fastboot

Connect the phone to Huawei COM 1.0 mode using the test point method with a modified USB cable.

Open SigmaKey software.

Select Platform → Hisilicon.

Choose the correct port.

Select Kirin as the processor.

Click Load Fastboot and wait for the process to complete.

Open MTF-Huawei Module 1.0.

Press 2 and wait for the process to finish.

Note: If the phone gets stuck on the logo, enter recovery mode and perform a low-level format.

Step 2: Remove FRP Lock

Put the phone back in Huawei COM 1.0 mode via test point.

Open SigmaKey.

Select Platform → Hisilicon.

Choose the correct port.

Select Kirin.

Click Load Fastboot and wait.

Select Remove FRP and wait for the process to complete.

Once done, the phone should be formatted and FRP-free.
